About
I am deeply passionate about guiding people on their own unique healing journey with a primary focus on helping each individual to feel more empowered and live a better quality of life. I believe an approach that works with the mind, body and nervous system increases our capacity for self-healing, aids in relieving symptoms of dysregulation and helps us step into more of our potential.

I am a fully qualified integrative therapist registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am also a qualified yoga teacher registered with Yoga Alliance Professionals UK, having completed 700 hours of yoga training and two months studying yoga in Rishikesh (India) a city at the foothills of the Himalayas where the discipline originated. I have been teaching yoga for three years and have extensive experience in working with a national charity supporting individuals with addiction, trauma, anxiety, depression and complex post-traumatic stress.
I strongly believe that a wide range of emotional, mental and physical problems are symptoms of a dysregulated nervous system and unprocessed trauma. It is part of my philosophy that, with the correct approach and the power of neuroplasticity, individuals can regulate and rewire their nervous system and brain to find relief from symptoms.

My personal experience of healing and inner work combined with professional training as both a therapist and a yoga teacher, has equipped me with the vital skills necessary to help assist others on their own journeys. I consider it a privilege to support others and I am profoundly passionate about guiding each and every person I work with.

My Journey
I first began to experience panic attacks, anxiety and depression in childhood and into my teenage years. As I entered young adulthood, I continued to live in a predominant state of survival where heightened feelings of low self-worth, panic attacks and crippling anxiety dominated my life. As my nervous system became more and more dysregulated, I began to develop health problems such as chronic muscular tension, irritable bowel syndrome, unexplained inflammation and even changes to the cells in my oesophagus. As these issues persisted, so did my cause for concern. My doctor told me I would need to take medication daily for the rest of my life, this did not sit well with me. My ill-health and unwillingness to purely medicate these conditions led me to start a life changing healing journey.

Six years on and I have never looked back from my holistic approach to healing and nervous system regulation. As I started feeling safer in my body, the more my anxiety and hypervigilance gradually lessened. Both my self esteem and self worth began to grow and my irreversible health conditions, that the doctor had previously said would need life-long medicating, began to reverse.

I learned how regulating my nervous system, working with my physiology and my mind were all key elements in relieving my symptoms. I also continued to explore myself through plant based medicines and personal therapy, unlearning unhealthy coping mechanisms and distorted belief patterns that were no longer serving me. By diving deep into my shadow and meeting hidden parts of myself, I am continuing to peel back layer after layer of conditioning and returning to my empowered, more authentic self.
